Ummm, when did the Dogs start sucking so bad???

I know, I know, this isn't the Dogs in any form than name, but man, does Tyla have no respect for his past? I don't remember the Doggies ever playing stuff that could be called "Metal", but sure enough, he is downtuned guitars, chunky "riffing" and all the crap I try to avoid when I buy the name "Dogs D'Amour". Man, if Tyla stills busts out his Chet Gretsch, poor Chet must be weeping to hear it played as this.

The mellow things are standard Tyla, but usually they are better than this.

Also, what is it with the female vocals on every track, and every line?

He also might want to look for a band that knows and understand RnR. "Barbed Wire Ball" could have used a decent slide going over it since the rest was so typical and laid open for such a thing, but instead we get mediocre slide here and there with nothing special going on.

My Lord, does she EVER STOP SINGING!?!

Now, I've said this before but what the hell. The Dogs, to me, were far more than just Tyla and his backing musicians, they were a true band - more so than most bands. All the players involved had very distinctive styles and when the lineup changes, so does the sound of the band. Therefore, for me, it can only be the Dogs if it involves more than just Tyla - hell, Bam's drumming was one of the defining characteristics of the band. They were a product of all the members' talents combined. It's not like Tyla even wrote all the songs himself, most were co-written.
This isn't the Dogs. It's Tyla's solo project.
